Refund policy

This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made on tearoots.in, operated by Bigwin Technologies Private Limited (Tearoots). As we sell food products (tea), returns are limited for safety and hygiene reasons.

1. Return Window
You may request a return within 7 days of delivery.

2. Eligibility
- Items must be unopened, unused, and in their original sealed packaging, with tamper-evident seals intact.
- For food-safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened or partially used tea, except where the product is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, contact us at support@tearoots.in within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photographs of the product and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

4. Return Shipping
- For change-of-mind returns of eligible (sealed) items, return shipping is borne by the customer.
- For damaged, defective, or wrong items, Bigwin Technologies bears the return shipping cost.

5. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned item (or approve a damaged/defective claim), we will process your refund to the original payment method via Razorpay. Refunds are typically completed within 5–7 business days of approval; the time for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or card issuer.

6. Non-Returnable Items
Gift cards, sale or clearance items marked non-returnable, and opened food products (except as set out above) are not eligible for return.

7. Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled before dispatch by contacting support@tearoots.in. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled but may be returned per this Policy.
